Gemma and Mark, a couple who overcame the distance to celebrate their destination wedding in Spain. From Abu Dhabi to Andalusia: their wedding was more than a day, it was a celebration over several days, with food, drink, music and countless photos. Colourful decor with a tile motif
The decor reflected Gemma and Mark’s personalities: colourful flowers, cheerful tablecloths and a common thread from the colour concept to the tile motif. The table numbers were hand-drawn and doubled as favours, namely the couple’s favourite crisps. We even printed the biscuits for the sweet table with the same tile motif as the menus and the little tile place cards.
The party of the year
The highlight of the evening was their first dance. A perfect performance, and once they opened the dance floor there was no stopping anyone. Even we danced all night.

Can you celebrate a wedding in Spain over several days?
Yes, many of our couples do exactly that: a get-together the evening before, the wedding day and a relaxed day afterwards.
Does a destination wedding work from far away?
Gemma and Mark came from Abu Dhabi. We plan everything by video call and take care of the rest on site.
When is the best time for a wedding in Almería?
April to June and September to October are the most popular months. In July we move the ceremony to the late afternoon, and we don’t plan weddings in August because it is too hot.
