There are weddings you never forget, and Nelly and Artur’s beach wedding in Spain in the summer of 2023 is definitely one of them. From their very first site visit we knew these two were special. Two beautiful, elegant people with a fine sense of style, warmth and real togetherness.
Getting ready
White flowers, golden accents, candles and candelabras: the decor was festive and elegant, just like the two of them. And while getting ready, Nelly had us all laughing along with her warm, strong laugh.

Elegant decor for a beach wedding
Long tables, white flowers, golden details and plenty of light. Decor that suited Nelly and Artur perfectly.

A little adventure on the way to the ceremony
Like every good film, this one had an adventure scene. The bus driver, who knows the route in his sleep, spontaneously opted for a sightseeing tour through the mountains, complete with hairpin bends and “where on earth are we?” moments. In the end everyone arrived safely, with a slightly raised pulse and a stunning view in their minds.
The ceremony between agaves and sea
Agaves, an arch of dried flowers and the sea behind: a ceremony in Cabo de Gata doesn’t need any more of a backdrop.

Couple portraits on the beach
After the ceremony we went down to the beach. Sand, waves and two people who were simply happy.

Dinner under the lights and wishes on lanterns
Dinner under the tent of lights, surrounded by palm trees, was pure magic: atmospheric light, delicious food, real summer night vibes. And to finish, the lantern ritual. Every guest wrote a wish on a lantern, Nelly and Artur read them aloud and then let them drift gently across the pool. A moment that gave us goosebumps.

What stays
Dear Nelly, dear Artur, thank you for letting us share this special day with you. It was an honour.
Frequently asked questions
Can you get married right on the beach in Spain?
As a symbolic ceremony, yes, on spots with a sea view or at venues by the beach. You do the legal part at home beforehand.
When is the best time for a wedding in Almería?
April to June and September to October are the most popular months. In July we move the ceremony to the late afternoon, and we don’t plan weddings in August because it is too hot.
How do guests get to the ceremony?
Usually with a booked coach from the accommodation to the ceremony and back. We organise it for you.
