For Christine and Marc it was clear: they wanted a small wedding in Spain, calm and very familial, right by the sea. Christine flies around the world for work, and she quickly knew Spain was the right choice. I agree with her. Where else can you eat such good tapas and drink such good wine?
Almería is a real tapas paradise, by the way, and was even Spain’s capital of gastronomy once.
Getting ready

The ceremony by the sea
A wedding by the sea, in the sand and in the sun. A guitarist played, the family sat close by, and nothing more was needed.

A Mediterranean celebration at the pool
Afterwards the party moved to the pool, with Mediterranean food and our simple, this time very elegant decor. That’s life, that’s Almería.
At this wedding something happened that I have told on Instagram before: the guests didn’t want to touch the decor and didn’t even use their napkins, so as not to spoil them.

What stays
Sometimes I feel I don’t need to write much, because the pictures say more than a thousand words. Small, warm and very calm.
Frequently asked questions
Is a small wedding in Spain worth it?
Yes. With few guests there is time for everyone, and venues by the sea, food and decor feel especially personal.
When is the best time for a wedding in Almería?
April to June and September to October are the most popular months. In July we move the ceremony to the late afternoon, and we don’t plan weddings in August because it is too hot.
What is the minimum number of guests?
There is none. We work with couples on their own just as much as with weddings of over 100 guests.
